Covast Executive Receives Microsoft’s Prestigious MVP Award Chief technology officer, Gijsbert in ‘t Veld, honored for commitment to
technical community ATLANTA – April 11, 2006 – Covast, a leading

environments, today announced that its chief technology officer, Gijsbert in
‘t Veld has been awarded the Microsoft® Most Valuable Professional
(MVP) award. Mr. in ‘t Veld joins a small, prestigious group of the best
and brightest technical leaders from around the world. MVP recipients are honored
for their commitment to the technical community, to their peers and their demonstrated
technical expertise.
Specifically, Mr. in ‘t Veld has been awarded for his expertise and work
with the Microsoft BizTalk Server product. Over the past four years, he has helped
with the ongoing development of Microsoft BizTalk Server and helped strengthen
the product’s electronic data interchange (EDI) and integration capabilities.
Just recently, Mr. in ‘t Veld and the Covast team released the Covast EDI
Accelerator for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, the Microsoft recommended solution
for EDI. The Covast EDI Accelerator has an easy to use interface and advanced
end-to-end EDI capabilities to extend the B2B integration functionalities of BizTalk
Server 2006.
Microsoft’s MVP award acknowledges these contributions to the global technical
community and Mr. in ‘t Veld’s commitment to provide more value to
Microsoft customers. By receiving this award, he is also honored for his inspiration
and willingness to help his peers in technology.
As an MVP, Mr. in ‘t Veld has the opportunity to meet Microsoft executives
