  1. What does Covast stand for?

    Covast is the combination of two terms. “Co” for “Commerce,” and “vast” meaning unbound or unlimited. With “Commerce Unbound,” we pledge our commitment to solving B2B integration challenges so businesses can realize truly collaborative e-commerce and unbound information exchange.

  2. What capabilities does Covast provide?

    Covast provides enterprise integration solutions that bridge the gap between legacy EDI applications and today's new Internet standards. The company offers a suite of products designed to facilitate fast, cost-effective B2B integration from of EDI intowithin the new generation of single integration platforms, such as Microsoft BizTalk Server and IBM Websphere. As a result, enterprises using EDI for business transactions are able to also benefit from features as business activity monitoring (BAM) and business process management (BPM) for their B2B integration.

  5. How long has Covast been in business?

    Covast Corporation was founded in 1996 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The U.S. headquarters in Atlanta opened in 2001. The initial software product offering was introduced in 1998. Since that time, Covast has introduced several products for Microsoft BizTalk Server and IBM WebSphere, including the Covast EDI Accelerator, Map Accelerator and AS2 Adapter. Most recently Covast has launched B2B Suites for Energy & Utilities, for Automotive, for Manufacturing, for Retail, and for Logistics & Distribution
